The Ticket Office
An imaginative conversion of the Grade 2 listed, former Ticket Office of Ruswarp Station-just over a mile from Whitby. Quirky accommodation with many original features – a fitting conversion to accompany the steam trains in season. Tastefully furnished and decorated.
Ruswarp has excellent amenities including boating on the River Esk, miniature railway, and a renowned local butcher. Ruswarp has a regular bus route into Whitby. Local pub nearby with hand-pulled real ales. The Esk Valley Walk runs through the village and Whitby is an easy 25-minute walk to the centre. A train enthusiasts dream – as steam trains pass regularly throughout the summer. A perfect location for exploring surrounding coastline and the dramatic North York Moors National Park.
